Finally! Snow!

We finally got some snow this season. It started on Friday and pretty much stopped Sunday night.

Doesn't look like the birds will be bathing here for a while.

I will be out shopping today and taking some more photos of the "lovely landscape". We may as well enjoy it. Merry Christmas

Christmas photo

The Christmas photo is done and sent out to all those friends both near and far. So far there have been no complaints about being sacreligious. Those who know me, know that I love Jesus and my fur babies, and no disrespect was intended.

I had an early Thanksgiving present yesterday. I won a terrific box of treasures from Kudzukween's blog. She has been beyond generous in her giving. The contents of the box practically filled up my kichen table. The silverware windchime and spoon necklace are my favorites (Ithink). It is way too cold to hang the windchime outside, but I already wore the necklace today. Thank You to Kudzukween again if she is reading this.

Long Time No Blog

It has been quite some time since I have written in here. I have been back in school, so not much gardening and photography going on. I feel I must catch up a little and at least give some highlights.

October I had a lovely road trip with my friend's daughter Edhybet. We went to Corning Glass Museum. We couldn't afford to buy anything but lunch, but we had fun.

Busy Weekend

It was another busy weekend with another wedding and visiting with family. My tenant of 7 years got married and is moving to Boston. I will really miss her, but wish her much luck.

I had a request for a dog wedding photo and was happy to oblige.

Sunday was another nice day visiting with Ian, Kelly and Tessa Mae. Tessa is running around (in a wobbly way) and she was very enjoyable to be around. She hasn't said 'granny' yet, but I guess there is still time.

Question of the Day

Why do all dogs think they are good at making beds?

I also made these cute little dragonflies from left over spindles, an old vegetable steamer, flat marbles and the pupils are old hearing aid batteries (thanks to mom).
